We are committed to the well being of our guests, team members and local community. We are in communication with our Local Government and the Los Cabos Tourism Board. Our ongoing efforts continue to help procure various services to ensure compliance with the USA/Canada requirements.
As we are committed to you and your family's safety and comfort, we have partnered with local hospitals since January 12 2021 that will provide Antigen and PCR-Covid tests for our guests. We can have a testing team scheduled at your villa or we can direct you to the closest facility.
Please note, as a last resort only, a limited number of antigen tests will be available at the Los Cabos airport for approximately $ 25 usd/person.
Once scheduled by your Los Cabos Experience Designer, a Doctor and Lab Representative will visit your villa to conduct your test. This will ensure that results will be provided in time for your departure. An Antigen Test result can be completed in less than 2 hours.
The cost is $ 60 usd per guest and a $ 150 usd flat fee for the house call.
As an example, a family of 4 will cost $ 390 usd.
We highly encourage all of our guests to take the test at home (in USA/Canada), prior to your trip, especially if you are only coming for 3 days. If you have time to test the morning you depart, you will already have your test in-hand for departure. If you already had COVID, you can secure a letter from your doctor stating that you had the virus and are safe to travel (within 90 days of the virus on-set). Please refer to the CDC for latest info and follow CDC guidelines, including recommended periods of self-quarantine or self-isolation after entry into the U.S.
As a general update, Cabo is open and and we are welcoming visitors to experience Los Cabos with strong safety measures, enhanced sanitization, reduced capacity at activities, hotels, and restaurants. Los Cabos has partnered with travel providers to obtain a “Clean Point” certification (Punto Limpio) offered by the Mexico government regarding hygiene protocols and obtained a “Safe Travels” stamp of approval certified by the World Tourism & Travel Council (WTTC).
For visitor safety, Los Cabos has implemented a phased reopening approach.
Los Cabos is currently in the Level 4 (Orange) of the BCS phased reopening plan.
* Face masks are required in all public spaces
* Hotels and services: at 40% capacity
* Beaches at restricted capacity
* Fishing charters
* Many outdoor tours & activities
* Restaurants with limited capacity and social distancing in place, including face masks.
* Flights to Los Cabos are operating from Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago, Charlotte, Houston, and Chicago with airlines including American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Delta, Southwest and United Airlines.
With the safety of our guests, team members and local community being of the highest importance, we share that our Los Cabos Experience Designers, team and partners have earned the Punto Limpio (“Clean Point”) certification. The Punto Limpio Quality Seal is a recognition imparted by Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) to companies in the tourism sector that have successfully completed the rigorous mandated requirements.
This program features the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness, with meticulous training for certified recipients in industry-recognized best practices. In addition, our team undergoes health screenings, including regular testing and daily temperature checks.
